Feels Engine
Your photos, on every screen.
An Android app that puts your own photos on the home screen, the lock screen and the screen saver, and changes them on a rhythm you set. Pick the photos yourself, or describe a group and the phone finds them. Nothing leaves the device.
I built it to see my kids during the day without opening a gallery.

How it works
Groups, not folders.
A group is photos you add, a description like "the kids at the beach", or both. Descriptions are matched on the phone: ML Kit labels each photo once, and on phones with Gemini Nano the model looks at each candidate and answers yes or no. Give a group to the home screen, the lock screen, both, or the screen saver.
Foldables, properly.
On Galaxy Z Fold phones the inner and cover screens each get their own crop, also while the phone is closed.
Private by construction.
The app has no network permission. Photos, labels and verdicts stay in private storage on the phone. Read the privacy policy.
Limits worth knowing
Android's photo picker hands over 100 photos per pick and keeps at most 512 picked photos readable per app, so a big collection should live on the phone. Without Gemini Nano, descriptions match label words rather than meaning. Android does not let apps read the current wallpaper, so a change cannot be undone from inside the app.
